Nails, Food, and a Good Cause!

Create-A-Pepper to fight Childhood Cancer. Make a difference!
Chili's has been supporting St. Jude's  Research hospital, and has a day were all the profits go directly to the hospital! This year it was on September 24, and I have made it a point to go each year. Who doesn't like eating for a good cause?
There were other ways to donate as well like Create-A-Pepper, buying a t-shirt, or zipper pull. We bought 2 zipper pulls to color, and show our support! :) And of course I had to show my awareness by wearing my gold inspired mani!
The important facts:
St. Jude's Research Hospital is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay.
The daily operating cost for St. Jude is $1.8 million, which is primarily covered by public contributions.
By supporting St. Jude, you are helping continue the lifesaving mission of finding cures and saving children. So every little bit helps!

Chili's has donated $ 4,195,080 to date in 2012 with the help of people like you! So please take the time to check these websites out to help children, and their families receive the care they need :)
The pretty facts:
For this special day I am wearing NYC-Enchanted (an off-white with gold glitter), and China Glaze Crackle-Cracked Medallion as an accent nail.

  8. I daughter fought leukemia and won but the chemo killed her heart. She lives because of a heart pump inside her heart while she waits for a heart transplant. Childhood cancer awareness is so important. Please keep it up! More research needs to be done to find better treatments that don't kill and maim kids. I started a board on pinterest called GOLD for Childhood Cancer Awareness and this post is going there. THANK-YOU!
