Childhood Cancer Awareness: Go Gold!

As my first blog post I decided to show some awareness for Childhood Cancer. I plan on featuring two things dear to my heart, bringing awareness and nail polish. Who would think the two went together? Well, I think the two will go together perfectly! Please follow my blog, find out awareness information and see pretty polish. Lets make bringing awareness to not so fun stuff, fun by showing support!

The important facts about Childhood Cancer:
Each year approximetly 13,400 children are diagnosed with cancer. It is the most common cause of death in children in the United States.
The most common childhood cancers are leukemia, brain, and other nervous system tumors.
What can you do to help?:
Visit sites like: American Childhood Cancer Organization (www.acco.org) and make a donation to help with research, and families that are going through the fight.
The pretty facts:
To show my support I am wearing Essie "Good as Gold" and Orly "Sashay My Way".
Watch out for my giveway so that you can show your support also!

  3. YES! I just did a search for childhood cancer awareness inspired manicures and this is the only one I found so far. The internet is full of pink ribbon nails but hardly anything for the gold ribbon [absolutely nothing on pinterest.....until now, I will be pinning this!]
